Baylor loses a close game to UCONN!! 65-64

On November 16, 2010, Baylor lost a close game to the girl's great team, UCONN.  The game actually came down to the last 6 seconds when Uconn's player Maya Moore missed a basket.  Baylor's Jones got the rebound and Baylor flew down the court.  They were unable to make the game winning shot as it was like 32 feet away from the basket. Baylor and their star Brittney Griner were supposed to give the Huskies a good game, but no one knew it would be that good!!!  To me, Uconn had an advantage playing at their gym and also Baylor had played 4 games in 5 days!  After last season's loss for Baylor, they were back for revenge after losing by 20 last time the two teams played.  The game was televised and at the game was one of Uconns greats, Sue Bird. The game ended with the final score of 65-64, Uconn.

If Baylor would have won it would have been the first time that Uconn has lost in exactly two years. Uconn is eight wins short of matching the 88-game string put together by UCLA's men's team in the 1970s.
